If you’re feeling generous, leave a tip; if you still want to pinch pennies (in which case, why are you reading this?), then resist the urge to haggle – they do need the money more than you.
Doing Something Unforgettable:
Take a horse ride around the city. Go bungee jumping. Take an architectural tour. It doesn’t matter what you do, as long as you enjoy yourself and you have a story to tell afterwards!
Souvenirs:
If you’re pressed for time, convert the bulk of your foreign cash back, bringing a little back for your family. While doing this on a large scale is not great for the local economy, a few dollars shouldn’t hurt anyone too much.
